THE SHEFFIELDIST

VIDEO JOURNALISM, PHOTOGRAPHY & WORDS IN AN ECLECTIC BLOG DOCUMENTING LIFE IN SHEFFIELD, UK

Best coffee shop in Sheffield?

Tamper Coffee provides a quality experience near to Sheffield’s city centre (just off West Street) for connoisseurs of coffee made using beans from across the globe.

It opened nine months ago and is set to bring the city in line with Leeds and other northern locations spreading a wave of caffeinated pleasure already established in London.

Tamper is an independent business providing a refreshing alternative to second-rate chain outlets seen commonly in the high streets of so may UK towns and cities. I tried a single-bean Colombian from their brew-bar and have never tasted the like in my life.

As an enthusiastic owner of a burr mill who likes to grind my own beans, this video (see below) is not in any way an advertisement, but is in fact an appreciation that good coffee is now available in Sheffield – made by real people who love what they do.
